Janet Horvath will be at the bookstore with her newest book The Cello Still Sings: A Generational Story of the Holocaust and of the Transformative Power of Music.
The Cello Still Sings is a sweeping history of three generations darkened by the long shadow of the Holocaust. The Cello Still Sings is a vivid, moving, and true story of personal discovery. The book contains humorous anecdotes as well as 60 historic photos including of the survivor orchestra in which my father played with the legendary maestro Leonard Bernstein at the helm.
